One day Islamic Ijthima was organized by IGC (Islamic Guidance Center) and HADHYA LAJNA on Monday 25th February 2008 at Mangaf Tent near Sahel Stadium for Tamil speaking Muslims.
An immense tent with all necessary facilities and a large secluded space for women were arranged. The entire tent was filled with the posters of Qur’an and Hadhees.
The program started at 09:45 hrs with Qur’an recitation by student Jassem. Shaikh Jamaludeen Fassy gave an introductory speech about IGC and one day Ijthima
Shaikh Ansar Hussain Firdhousi addressed on social life of Mohammed (SAL). The chief guest Shaikh K.S. Rahmathullah Imdadi from Saudi Arabia addressed on “Aakhira” (Life after death) after tea break.
Sport activities took place after the prayer for children and gents as part of the event. In the meantime, a brief discussion was held among ladies about Monthly Ladies Program, Ladies Madhrassa and Children Madhrassa.
Lunch was served after the sports. Followed by Q&A session Shaikh Rahmathullah Imdadi addressed “View of Islam about Madhabs”. Subsequently, gifts were given by Shaikh Jintha Fassy to three brothers embraced Islams.
Shaikh Mujeeburrahman Fassy concluded the event with some questions to public from the talks today and presented gifts to those answered well.
